IRIX Polska - OEM / Custom project brief

Purpose: collect information needed to discuss optical component adaptation, custom optical design or a solution prepared for a customer device.

1. Project description
- What device or system is being developed?
- What role does the optical path play?
- Is it a new device, upgrade, prototype or production project?
- Should IRIX Polska select an existing solution, supply a component, design optics or support integration?

2. Optical requirements
- Sensor: format, resolution, pixel size, manufacturer.
- Expected field of view, focal length and working distance.
- Spectral range, transmission, contrast, distortion and sharpness.
- Are filters, coatings or a special operating range required?

3. Mechanical requirements
- Mount, dimensions, mass, housing and adapters.
- Available space in the device.
- Requirements for housing, finish, marking or assembly.
- Limits resulting from operation in a head, camera, drone, robot or machine.

4. Control and software, if relevant
- Is focus, aperture, calibration or another optical function to be controlled?
- Is a specific communication interface required?
- Should the module work with customer electronics?
- What functions should simple software or control logic support?

5. Operating environment
- Temperature, vibration, moisture, dust, mobile or stationary use.
- Outdoor operation, vehicle use, UAV platform, production hall or laboratory environment.
- Requirements for tests, validation or documentation.

6. Scale and formalities
- Planned volume: sample, test batch, short series or serial production.
- Timeline, project stage and preferred communication process.
- Is an NDA or separate document exchange process required?
